By following these simple guidelines your Bradley Shoemaker artwork will never lose value due to neglect or improper care.

  • If you do not have your print framed by us or an authorized Bradley Shoemaker dealer, be sure to take it to a known and trusted frame shop.
  • NEVER allow the framer to cut or trim the print size in any way. This results in a worthless piece of art.
  • Request that the framer does not tape the print in any way. We suggest that the print be suspended with archival quality corners.
  • Always ensure that your framer uses nothing but ACID-FREE/ARCHIVAL QUALITY mats and mounting board when framing your piece.
  • When choosing a mat and frame, we suggest matching the mat to enhance the colors in the print and match the frame to the decor where it will be displayed. Naturally, there are exceptions to every rule, but when doubt this is a good rule to follow. Glass may be either non-glare or standard. This is a matter of personal preference.
